MILLIE

Adoption Pending. Millie is the sweetest little senior. We hate when seniors end up at the shelter - a cold concrete cell is no place for them to spend the rest of their days.

We estimate Millie is between 8-10 years old but she doesn’t show it. This girl has SO much spunk!! She still has great energy, loves to go on walks, can’t wait to eat her food, and enjoys being a little lap dog.

Millie had a slew of medical conditions when we first got her out of the shelter but she is conquering each one at a time. When she came to us, her ears were full of gunk and she is nearly deaf - we are unsure at this time if it’s due to the terrible ear infections or if she really is deaf. We will know in the coming weeks. Her ear infections are now clearing.

She also had a stage 1 kidney infection which has resolved through antibiotics and a special kidney diet.

Millie does have a slight heart murmur which should be monitored but it is not hugely concerning. Just need to watch for any shortness of breath. We haven’t seen that yet -she zooms around the yard with ease.

She’s a tiny little thing clocking in at 10lbs. She is ready to be someone’s forever sidekick.
