PLUM

Plum had a pretty rough start to life - at only 7 months old, she was turned into the shelter by her "owner" stating they didn't have time for her. It was very clear they never cared about her - she lived outside and was turned in with a severely broken leg and dermatitis. She was put on the euthanasia list shortly after arriving at the shelter since she was badly injured. Despite all of that hardship, Plum is so sweet.

We got her into a foster home and quickly into surgery to fix her broken leg - she received an ulnar osteotomy followed by 4 weeks of crate rest then 4 weeks of PT. She LOVED her hydrotherapy sessions.

Plum is just a wonderful dog - she is lovely with other dogs and humans. She is a friendly girl who loves to play and run and snuggle. She is a little shy at first when meeting new people but quickly warms up when treats are offered. She is cautious around kids - she wants to play but also gets nervous around quick movements. Kids 8 or older would be best for her!

Plum would thrive in a home that has hustle and bustle - she likes to be part of the action and she loves to be with her people and other dogs.
